Algae fuels are coming! Not in ten years. They're coming now. And, not just fuel from algae; food, healthcare products, biodegradable plastics, biochemicals, hydrogen, and clean water can all be made from algae. We are entering a new age - the Age of Sustainability, the Age of Clean Energy.
Imagine it: a green and blue world, where we can meet most of our energy and material needs by recycling and reusing the abundant amounts of carbon dioxide already available in the environment, rather than being so dependent on petroleum. It doesn't mean we are going to replace petroleum - oil availability will gradually decline, but it has many years ahead of it still. That's OK. Let's start the process of building a future that includes new options.
